02 Jan My 2022 Goals
I am a firm believer that you can set goals at any time of the year – Strictly speaking, the New Year is only 1 period of a possible 86 different times in the year where you can set a goal and work towards achieving it. Because ultimately setting goals which you want to achieve and stretch yourself with is all well and good in itself but without the action steps to follow through they remain incomplete and undone which is nearly worse than if you had never set the goal in the first place!
I also believe in accountability and transparency – I count these as two of my core beliefs and values. To this end documenting my goals in this semi-public fashion is another way of me holding myself accountable while also being a convenient content creation blog post for the early New Year. 😉
So here are my Goals for 2022:
The first goal I have for 2022 is to share my Coaching practice with more Salon Owners
Coaching is needed (and valued) more than ever. Having gotten through everything that 2020 & 2021 has thrown at us, more Salon Owners than ever are seeking coaching to help them keep moving forward in their personal and professional lives.
The second goal I have for 2022 is to build on my 2021 Self Development Work.
As some of you may know, I spent the best part of 2021 growing my own coaching knowledge – taking on a Graduate Diploma in Executive Coaching with the Irish Management Institute and becoming a member of the European Mentoring & Coaching Council. You may wonder why? I believe it is important to hold myself accountable to the best international practices and this way I can continuously provide quality coaching to all of my Coaching clients. What will 2022 bring? Well, already I have become a Roche Martin Emotional Capital Report practitioner and will be looking at ways of incorporating this into my practice to identify opportunities for growth within my clients.
